LK EDUCATION
Terms of Service
Effective July 30, 2026 · Last updated July 30, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and LK Essentials, doing business as LK Education ("we," "us"), covering thelkway.com, our online store, The Middle School Master Plan planner, and the digital Resource Hub.
By buying from us or using the Hub, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the Hub.
1. Who may use this
You must be at least 18 to purchase or to create an account. Products are designed for students in grades 5–8, but accounts are held by a parent, guardian, teacher or school — not by a child.
2. What you are buying
The planner is a physical book. When it is delivered, it is yours.
Hub access is a limited licence, not a purchase of the content. Access runs 365 days from the date it is granted. It does not renew automatically and there is no ongoing subscription.
Packs. A Counselor 5-Pack includes 5 planners and 5 student Hub seats. A Classroom Pack includes 30 planners, 30 student Hub seats and 1 staff Hub licence. Seats are for the students and staff you assign them to at your own campus.
3. What you may and may not do with the content
You may use the planner and the Hub with your own child, your own students, or your own classroom. You may print Hub printables for those students as often as you like.
You may not resell, sublicense, publish or redistribute our content; scan, photocopy or upload planner pages or Hub videos anywhere; share a login outside the seats you purchased; use our material in a paid product, course or training of your own; or use it to train an AI model.
A single staff licence covers one educator. If another teacher on your campus needs access, that is another seat — email us and we will make it easy.
4. Trademarks and copyright
The Middle School Master Plan™, Executive Skills Radar™, the LK Education name and logo, and all planner and Hub content are our property and protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it to you.
5. Accounts
Keep your login credentials to yourself and let us know promptly if you think an account has been compromised. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything a student does with a login you issued.
We may suspend or terminate access for sharing credentials beyond your purchased seats, or for redistributing our content. Where the breach is not deliberate we will contact you first.
6. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are in US dollars and can change at any time; the price at checkout is the price you pay. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors, and cancel and refund an affected order if we need to.
We may decline or cancel any order, including suspected reseller orders.
Purchase orders. We accept school and district POs and provide a W-9 on request. Invoices are payable net 30 from the invoice date.
Returns, replacements and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, and delivery by our Shipping Policy. Both are part of these terms.
7. What this is and is not
The Middle School Master Plan is an educational tool that teaches executive function skills. It is not medical, psychological, diagnostic or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for evaluation or treatment by a qualified professional.
Our materials may support goals written into a 504 plan or an IEP, but they do not replace a student's legally required services and we are not a party to any student's plan. Decisions about a student's education remain with their family and their school.
Students differ. We cannot and do not promise particular grades, test scores or outcomes.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Hub available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access; platforms go down and maintenance happens. We may add to, change or retire Hub content, but we will not remove so much that your access loses its value during a paid access period.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or the Hub is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost time or lost academic opportunity.
Our products and the Hub are provided "as is," without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of our content, your breach of these terms, or content you distribute in violation of the licence above.
11. Third parties and links
Our site, store, email and course platforms are operated by third parties under their own terms. We link to outside resources from time to time; we are not responsible for their content.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to that venue.
Before filing anything, please email us. Most problems are a five-minute conversation.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top of this page, and the change applies to orders placed after that date.
